Jigger ("the App") is an alcohol intake tracker developed by giginet ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the App does with your data.

The short version: the App has no server of its own. Everything you record stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud account. We cannot see it.

What the App stores

The App stores the drink records you enter: the kind of drink, its volume and alcohol strength, and the date and time you recorded it. It also stores your settings, such as whether Health app sync is switched on.

The App does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, location, or contacts.

Where that data lives

• On your device. Records are saved in the App's own storage on your iPhone and Apple Watch.
• In your iCloud account. If you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud Drive is enabled, records sync between your devices through Apple's CloudKit private database. That database belongs to your Apple Account. We have no access to it, and neither does anyone else.
• Nowhere else. The App does not send your records to us or to any third party. We operate no analytics server and no backend of any kind.

Health app (HealthKit)

If you turn on Health app sync and grant permission, the App writes your alcohol intake to the Health app as Number of Alcoholic Beverages, and reads that same category back so it can keep the two in step.

• Health data is never transmitted to us or to any third party. It stays between the App and the Health app on your device.
• Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, and is never sold or shared.
• You can withdraw permission at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices, or in the Health app under Profile → Privacy → Apps.
• Records the App has already written to the Health app remain there if you revoke permission, cancel your subscription, or delete the App. You can delete them yourself in the Health app.

Subscriptions

Jigger Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never see or receive your payment details.

Apple provides us with sales and subscription reports that are aggregated and anonymised — they do not identify individual customers.
